Day 2 of the 24 Day’s of Craft Beer Christmas
Kudzu Porter from Back Forty Beer Company
Opening the bottle I noticed some caramel and coffee aroma and then I poured it with a good light carbonation with little to no head. The head that was there was a roasty nutty tan color. The first taste Crisp with caramel and coffee notes with some chocolate. I also noticed some citrusy hops too.
Definitely a crisp porter and very enjoyable, probably would go very well with a nice pot roast on a chilly day. I would probably buy this beer again. Cheers to @Back Forty Beer Company
Two porters are a great way to get things warmed up for Christmas, I can’t wait to see what’s in store for tomorrow from The Craft BeerAdvent Calendar for day 3!
