Jackline – Saison/Farmhouse Ale
Lighthouse Brewing Company
I got this beer in a trade with a friend and I was really excited to see it because last year Lighthouse brewed Rhubie Rhubarb Ale which I thoroughly enjoyed. I really love rhubarb but I never thought to use it in a fruit beer.
The aroma has a sweet and slight spice to it with about a medium amount of carbonation. I poured slowly into my fancy Kwak glass and the rhubarb aroma was just pouring out of it lol. The first sip was nice with some earthy, and farmhouse tart/bitterness with a notable rhubarb twang and then a crisp dry finish that lingers.
This is definitely a very quaffable table beer and I can only imagine how refreshing it would be on a hot summer day
