Mark II Keg and Carboy washer
w/ 22oz Bottle Washer
The Mark II keg and Carboy Washer is probably one of the best investments into my brewery yet as far as time and money savings go. Out of the box the main body of the wash system has a few pieces to assemble and remember not to turn the pipes too tight or you risk stripping the threads or even breaking the pipe. There is a T connection for adding an optional product line disconnect for cleaning the keg’s dip-tube while spraying the inside, and it allows you to clean the keg effortlessly and without having to disassemble it. There is also some hose adapters so if you want you can screw them onto the pump and attach your brew lines and pump cleaner through them, I have not used them however but they appear to be the same sturdy construction as the other parts.
The Keg washer is large enough to fit most fermenters with ease, such as the standard brew pales, up to 26L glass carboys, up to 28L Fermonsters with no extra work and with kegs I have washed the 5g & 10g corny kegs with no hassle and even 1/2 bbl kegs! I do use the washer for my 15 gallon fermenters and I have to block it up a bit for stability but other then that absolutely no issue. Because it is recirculating the water it really helps to keep the environmental impact down as you will conserve a lot of water and also save money on cleaner as well.
Once you have finished washing, the keg washer is quickly broken down. The pump can be drained and put aside to dry and the body quickly rinsed in the sink and clean up is done.
I highly recommend this product because it’s quality built, has a solid warranty, and it’s so simple to use. It really is the best way to clean your kegs and carboy’s in my opinion.
