Due to being sick I’ve had to take a bit of a delay on continuing with the Phillips Brewing Company Winter Snowcase however here is Day 17 and still trucking right along with
Rural Brewer Brown Brew
This beer pours a nice dark brown with a good finger of bubbly head that dissipates quite quickly leaving behind a nice toffee, nutty, malty and even slight coffee aroma but emphasis on the malts. The flavors are just as exciting drawing on some good maltyness with a light roast taste and a hint of coffee with a sweet start and finishes a with a slight hint of bitterness. I really love Brown Ales, and this one really hit the spot.
I really loved this beer and would absolutely recommend trying it, it is very lightly hopped and quite balanced.
I would absolutely buy this beer again.
